Allen Creek closes when the Ann Arbor Public Schools are closed. School cancellations are announced on radio, television, or the Internet. Listen for “Ann Arbor Public Schools”. We will also put a closing message on the Allen Creek answering machine and on the school’s website whenever possible. If Allen Creek has to close at any other time (for example, power or water failure), we will notify you immediately by email or by phone and wait with your child until you can come.
If tornado or severe storm warnings occur during the school day, teachers are trained to protect children inside the building. We will notify you as soon as we are able.
